Are you looking for flower delivery in Warsaw, Poland, from another country? Then you are probably in one of three situations: a parent or partner has moved to Warsaw and you want to be at their birthday without a plane ticket; a colleague in the Warsaw office deserves a thank-you; or a friend has just had a baby, a promotion or a loss and you want flowers at their door tomorrow morning. In all three cases the question is the same – how do you get a real bouquet to a real address in a city you may never have visited?

This guide answers that question from the inside. We are IFIORA, an independent flower shop in Warsaw with a studio in Mokotów; we deliver only within Warsaw, and everything below – times, prices, cut-offs – is our published rule, not a marketing average.

The short version:

  • Order from any country, in English, paying online in Polish złoty; the only condition is a delivery address in Warsaw.
  • Delivery in Warsaw: 3–4 hours from order acceptance; 29 zł below 500 zł, free from 500 zł; express within 2 hours – 50 zł after prior confirmation.
  • Same day delivery only for orders paid before 16:00 Warsaw time and confirmed by the studio – never automatic.
  • Monday–Saturday; no Sunday delivery. Greeting card and standard wrapping free; chocolates and balloons paid; 7-day freshness guarantee.

Flower delivery Warsaw Poland: flower-post network or a flower shop in the city?

Every “flowers to Poland” search returns two kinds of service, and telling them apart is the whole game. International flower-post networks are order-takers: you pay on a site in your country, and the order is forwarded to a local partner florist in Warsaw whom you do not choose and cannot contact. The photo becomes a reference and the delivery time becomes the partner’s problem.

A local flower shop in Warsaw does the opposite: the same team buys the flowers, creates the bouquet in its own studio and sends its own courier to the specified address. If the flowers are not what you expected, there is one phone number and one responsible party. Our flower shop is exactly that model – not part of any chain or network – which is why we do not accept orders for other Polish cities. For Kraków or Gdańsk, find the local studio there.

How to order flowers to Warsaw from abroad, step by step

Step one: choose the bouquet on the site – it works in English, Polish and Russian, so that you do not need a translator; you can choose a bouquet with delivery in any district, and the odd Shopify quirk (“choosing a selection results in a full page refresh”, a link that “opens in a new window”) is theme text, not a warning sign. Mixed and mono bouquets, roses, flower boxes, baskets, birthday, wedding and funeral arrangements, each in sizes S, M and L. Step two: write the greeting card in your own words and language; the card is free. Step three: enter the recipient’s address in Warsaw and, crucially, a Polish phone number for the recipient – more on why below.

Step four: choose the delivery timing – standard 3–4 hours, or express within 2 hours (50 zł, confirmed by us before you pay). Step five: pay online in PLN. Credit and debit cards are the norm on Polish florist sites and many also accept Apple Pay; your bank converts the currency, and there is no intermediary taking a margin. You will receive an order confirmation by email; if anything about the date or address needs checking, a florist calls or writes before the bouquet is made. The whole delivery process takes one form and about five minutes.

Time zones, cut-offs and the same day delivery rule

All our cut-offs are in Warsaw time (CET/CEST). Same day delivery in Warsaw is possible if the order is paid before 16:00 and the studio confirms it has capacity that day – 15:00 in London, 10:00 in New York, 19:00 in Dubai. It is never automatic: on 14 February, 8 March and 26 May (Mother’s Day in Poland) demand exceeds hands and vans, and same-day confirmation is hardest to get. If the flowers must arrive on a specific day, place an order the day before and write the date in the comment; the studio delivers the bouquet in 3–4 hours from acceptance on that day.

Delivery runs Monday to Saturday; there is no Sunday delivery. For a Sunday birthday, order flowers for Saturday – the 7-day freshness guarantee covers the day after – and write the real date on the card.

Delivery in Warsaw: districts, costs, addresses

We deliver to every district of Warsaw at the same price and time: Mokotów, where the studio is, Ursynów, Wilanów, Śródmieście, Wola, Ochota, Żoliborz, Bielany, Bemowo, Białołęka, Targówek, Praga-Północ, Praga-Południe, Wawer, Rembertów, Wesoła, Ursus and Włochy. Delivery costs 29 zł for orders below 500 zł and is free from 500 zł; many Warsaw shops charge 19–25 zł, and the difference buys a courier from the studio rather than an app driver. Addresses can be homes, offices, hotels, hospitals, restaurants, wedding venues and special events – for an office give the company name, floor and reception; for a hotel the guest name and room; for a hospital the ward, after checking its rules.

Outside the city limits – Piaseczno, Łomianki, Legionowo – we do not deliver and do not forward your order to anyone. The border is deliberate: it is what allows the same team to be responsible from the first stem to the door.

Why the recipient’s Polish phone number matters more than the address

The courier calls the recipient to agree the hand-over. With a local number, a closed door costs ten minutes; without it, the courier has to reach you in another time zone while the flowers wait in the van. If you want a surprise, say so in the comment – the courier arranges the moment without revealing what is coming. For an office, the reception usually signs; the flowers are delivered together with your card and, if ordered, chocolates or balloons as paid add-ons (some shops offer soft toys as well; none should call an add-on free when it is not).

Flowers for any occasion: the right bouquet for each reason to send

Birthdays first – joyful mixed bouquets of roses, gerberas and tulips, or a flower box that needs no vase. Then Valentine’s Day and Women’s Day (8 March), when roses and tulips dominate and ordering flowers early is wise; anniversaries, where the perfect gesture is a bouquet for the recipient in their favourite colours; apologies, which work best with a hand-written card; thank-you flowers for a host, a teacher or a colleague; and Mother’s Day, 26 May in Poland, a fixed date that many families abroad forget is different from their own. Special occasion orders – a new baby, a graduation, a new flat – travel best as a flower box or basket, because they are ready to display without a vase.

Sympathy flowers are their own category: funeral wreaths and sprays, fresh and elegant, subdued in colour, chosen with the family’s wishes in mind; flowers are also ordered for graves around All Saints’ Day, 1 November. For funerals, write or call so we can agree the place and hour with the funeral home.

Polish flower etiquette for foreigners

Three rules save embarrassment. Give an odd number of stems to a living person; even numbers are reserved for funerals. Be careful with yellow roses, which in Polish tradition can hint at jealousy, and with chrysanthemums, which are grave flowers in Poland rather than gift flowers. And know that many Poles unwrap a bouquet before handing it over – the paper is for transport, not for the recipient – which is one more reason to let a florist choose the wrapping rather than the courier. If you are unsure, describe the person in the order comment and we will choose the flowers and the color palette for you.

What is the flower bouquet made of? Fresh flowers, seasonality, sizes

The flowers are natural and seasonal, so the range changes with the month: tulips in March, peonies in late spring, roses and lisianthus all year; roses remain the most popular flower in bouquets and flower boxes. Everything is kept in the studio’s cold room and the bouquet is created after payment by experienced florists, by hand – nothing is taken from a display shelf. Sizes S, M and L change the number of stems and the volume, not the quality: S is a gesture, M the classic gift, L for a milestone. Prices depend on flowers, season and size and are shown on each product page; guides quote Warsaw bouquets from around 80 zł, but check the live price.

Fast delivery is not the only thing to compare

When you compare flower delivery services in Warsaw, “fast” is the easiest promise to make and the least useful to compare. Look instead at seven things: a real studio address; photos of everyday bouquets, not only styled shoots; delivery cost, time and days stated in numbers; a freshness guarantee with a number; opening hours and a phone that someone answers; an honest statement that same-day delivery is not automatic; and what is included in the price. Reviews of our shop or any other help, but read them for detail – what was delivered, when, and what happened when something went wrong. Even more useful: write to the shop and see who replies.

The Warsaw market in numbers

Warsaw has a wide choice of online florists offering varied compositions – mixed and mono bouquets, seasonal and exotic flowers, many styles and colours, flower boxes and baskets, funeral sprays and wreaths ordered for ceremonies, flowers for All Saints’ Day. Delivery across the city takes 1–4 hours depending on the shop, most florists offer same-day delivery, some let you choose a delivery time slot, some deliver seven days a week, many offer free delivery above a spending threshold and fees of 19–25 zł below it, and customers from abroad using a flower-post network are served by a local partner florist they do not choose.

Mother’s Day flowers are chosen by children on 26 May; reviews are a key criterion when choosing a service. IFIORA’s own range covers hand-tied bouquets, mono and eco bouquets, flower boxes, baskets, roses, cut flowers by the stem, luxury flowers, potted plants, funeral sprays and wreaths, seasonal Easter bouquets and Christmas arrangements, and flowers and decorations for offices, hotels, restaurants and events; customer service is in Polish, English and Russian.

About us: IFIORA in four sentences

We are an independent florist with a studio at al. Polski Walczącej 30, lok. U3/A, 00-712 Warszawa (Mokotów), open Monday to Saturday 10:00–17:00. Phone and WhatsApp +48 883 338 113, email info@ifiora.com; the site works in Polish, English and Russian, and payment is in PLN. We are not part of any chain or flower-post network and deliver only within Warsaw. Every bouquet is made to order, after payment, and comes with a free card, standard wrapping and a 7-day freshness guarantee.

If you want to send flowers to Warsaw from abroad, that page has the details; the full terms of flower delivery in Warsaw are one click further, and the current range of bouquets Warsaw is where most customers start.

Order ahead on peak days – and stay up to date with the studio

Two days ahead is enough for 14 February, 8 March and 26 May; the day before is enough for everything else. Keep your phone reachable for the confirmation, read the email you receive after payment – it repeats the date, address and card text so you can correct a typo in time – and, if you have a specific delivery window in mind, write to us before paying; we will tell you honestly whether it can be done. That is the difference between a wonderful experience and a great disappointment; however fast a shop is, it cannot deliver what it did not confirm.

Frequently asked questions about flower delivery in Warsaw from abroad

How do I get flowers delivered in Poland from abroad?

Choose a local florist in the recipient’s city, order online in English, enter a Polish address and phone number, and pay in PLN. For Warsaw, we deliver in 3–4 hours from order acceptance, Monday to Saturday.

Which flower delivery service in Warsaw is the best?

The one that makes the bouquet itself. Compare a real studio address, stated delivery times and costs, a freshness guarantee with a number, and how fast a human answers your message – not the size of the discount banner.

Can you deliver the same day?

Yes, if the order is paid before 16:00 Warsaw time and we confirm capacity. It is never automatic; on peak days, order two days ahead.

Do you deliver on Sundays or to other cities in Poland?

No. Delivery is Monday to Saturday and only within the Warsaw city limits; we do not forward orders to partner shops elsewhere.

What are the etiquette rules for giving flowers in Poland?

Odd numbers for the living, even for funerals; avoid yellow roses and chrysanthemums as gifts; hand the bouquet over unwrapped if you deliver it in person.

How much does it cost?

Bouquet prices are on the product pages and change with the season. Delivery is 29 zł below 500 zł, free from 500 zł, and express within 2 hours is 50 zł after confirmation.

Distance stops mattering when there is a local studio on the other end. Thank you for reading – and if the person you are thinking of lives in Warsaw, the rest is a five-minute form.
